3 Quarters Dead has been together since 1999, however; JP,Kenny,and Waylon have played together since 1994. these members of 3QD started playing at a very young age and went there seperate ways early in there musical career. JP and Kenny rejoined in early 1999 to form what is now known as 3QD. While jp and kenny were playing and were trying to find other members, they found Mark. At the time mark wasn't there first choice, But; his personality made him the top pick for the job. next was there first Bass player Dyson. Witch was with 3QD for about a year and a half who later left because of creative diffrences. After finding a bass player the search for a singer began. We tried out alot of diffrent singers(to many of them wanted to be rap-metal) but waylon was the best. He can sing and scream all in the same breath. The last member to join was Richie. Who replaced Dyson in 2000-2001.
3 Quarters Dead has released 3 cd's, 1 live cd, and is currently working on a new cd hopfully will be out early 2004.
3QD has opened up for such national act's like: "Mushroom Head","Switched","Ill Nino","Stuck Mojo","420 Monks","Avenged Sevenfold","Dope","Soil","40 Below Summer","Jackyl" and "Nothing Face".
3QD has Toured With: "Mushroom Head" and "Avenged SevenFold"
3QD is also featured on the movie soundtrack to the movie called "Bums".
