"Gazing at Krsna's picture, Radharani said: 'O transcendental, splendid youth, I see in this charming picture, Your form shines like the flames of a submarine volcano, or like black moonlight. Please cool My eyes. We are simple and honest. Ah! Ah! Why is it that we do not know who You are?' " [Rupa Gosvami, Ujjvala-nilamani]
Bhaktisiddhartha Dasanudas is a devotional artist whose vision of the spiritual world has blossomed under the guidance and inspiration of his gurus. His orchestrations, while masculine and dark in the tradition of Sibelius and Shostakovitch, also shine with a kind of transcendental 'black moonlight,' revealing the confidential pastimes of Goloka Vrndavan, the highest planet in the spiritual sky.
He transforms these simple Bengali bhajans into a passionate plea for mercy from his divine Lord. The arrangements, spare and austere yet ornamented with deep spiritual feelings, convey a profound confidence born of long years of sadhana, both in this life and many previous ones.
Most of the Melodies on this CD were written by Visnujava Swami, one of the first sannyasi disciples of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and a great musician. Visnujana composed these melodies at the request of his beloved Gurudeva, and we think they reveal his greatness.
About Bhaktisiddhartha

Since Bhaktisiddhartha is a disciple of Abhaya Caranaravindam Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the great world teacher of devotional service to the Lord, this is a fitting name.
Bhaktisiddhartha was born in Florida and grew up near New York City. He began working with electronics and computers in high school, where he taught himself digi
