Don Tipton is the former lead singer for the Michigan based Christian rock band: "Compassion", and has been in several Christian, and secular rock bands since his high school days.
He is happily married, and the proud father of four daughters.
Originally from Ohio, he spent a number of years in Michigan, during which he was not only the lead singer for the band: Compassion, but was part of the worship team at his church, Macomb Christian Community Center, where he played acoustic guitar, and often led the worship.
Don Tipton now resides in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
He made the leap of faith to move to Nashville in 1996 when he decided to go solo, and start his own ministry for Christ.
He has been a Spirit filled Christian for most of his adult life.
His style of music ministers to young, and old alike.
Acoustic Guitar driven songs with an acoustic rock flavor, with close ties to modern Praise & Worship Music, as heard on most Contemporary Christian Radio Stations today.
Don Tipton is a Christian Artist on a mission, to reach the world with the message of love, grace, forgiveness, and the salvation found in Jesus Christ, the true light of the world.
