Formed in the london by songwriting partners Poppy Gonzalez (Si Sen Si/Sing-Sing) & Gregg Mckella (Paradise 9, Jeanette Murphy)& later joined by Amy Tucker (The Whims) - the critically acclaimed Dreamfield Active 1999 - 2003,no longer perform as a live band.
Their mixture of 'dub, trip-hop, psychedelia & cheesy latin 60s music' won them some hardcore fans. Dreamfield music has a 'penchant for long brooding notes of an undefined nature'and dreamy female vocals, which drifted over a trippy beats/organic mix,this makes for a intoxicating coctail that is distinctly their own.
Founder member Poppy Gonzalez went on to form 'Hush Collector' whose debut release the 'Flowby ep' is also available from CD Baby.
