As a talented lyricist with production skills, Duce not only writes his own music but also assembles beats. His eclectic taste for rhythm and time, winds up being a very powerful combination for making tracks that stand out from the rest and still keep heads nodding. He does not strive to be like pop producers who pull samples from obvious sources to make fly-by-night hits. He seeks to make music that will endure the test of time. "My songs are old school... and old school music has more soul, meaning and depth than today's music". With his cousin's engineering skills, Duce creates hot tracks that bring a fresh new sound and expands the genre of hip-hop. He is able to do so because of a deep-seeded love for all types of music and strives to incorporate them into his sound.
