I am very proud of this, my first CD and know that once you hear it you will understand why. I have been playing and writing for years and I finally hit my stride both lyrically and musically. I’m just like you, songs come to me while I lie in bed and when I’m driving down the road. Sometimes it’s based on inspiration and sometimes it’s life’s experiences. Let me share a little about my songs:
ONE GOOD WOMAN - I heard someone say he was “Looking for one good woman.” I had to laugh because they’re all looking for one good man and that let’s him out.
ROCK BOTTOM BAR - I’ve lived this song.If you want to swap stories about who has played in the worst bands in the worst dives, let’s do it. I believe there’s a lot of musicians who can identify with this story.
LIGHTNING QUICK - Sort of a Jim Croche type of Boogie Blues number

ISLAND GIRL - I love the kettle drum rythm and the clavinet. Lines I wrote like “daughter of the sun, sister of the moon”, evoke a feeling of actually being at the ocean making memories.
GREEN MAN - Brother Robert wrote this song overnight. I added the tune, the picking, tweaked a verse and added a verse plus a kazoo part and Robert said to put myself down as Co-author. Funny thing is this tune has had the most air time coming from gardening radio shows.
TRAFFIC LIGHT - All about life in a small town to a hot rocking Chuck Berry type beat. That’s me on the lead guitar.
BEGINNING OF THE END - I wrote this song to be sung by a woman so my daughter Amanda is the vocalist. This is a song many women can identify with. The line “I wonder Lord are you still there?” tugs at my heartstrings. I’
