In 1997 Spencer had his first co-writes published with Morrissey on the Mercury album 'Maladjusted' along with b-sides, Lost, and Now I Am A Was.
Scott Matthew is a singer and lyricist born in Queensland, Australia, who is now living and performing in New York City. He has sung on the soundtracks to anime blockbusters 'Cowboy Bebop', 'Ghost in the Shell', and penned lyrics for Billy Preston.
Together they founded alt pop band Elva Snow, hand picking musicians from the New York music scene. Their song writing collaboration leads to having two songs picked off their debut album for feature film soundtracks. They are featured in; 'The Last Run', directed by Jonathan Segal, starring Fred Savage, 2004, and 'Splinter' directed by Kai Maurer, starring Paul Barber and Joe McGann, 2005.
