When using in a classroom or home learning environment use tracks 5 - 11 (slow tracks) with paced, rhythmic delivery related games and learning situations. Also, use these tracks during meal times, transition times, and nap times. These tracks are between 52 and 66 beats per minute. Breathing and playing "in time" with this music is highly encouraged to sharpen focus and reduce stress. These slower tracks are also effective with children of special needs, as related to their ability to focus over periods of time and be efficient in general. Use tracks 1 - 4 and 12 -18 (fast tracks) with dramatic delivery related games and learning situations. Also, use as background to artistic activities and as foreground when "surfing the words." ARTIST BIOGRAPHIES Internationally acclaimed violinist Steven Moeckel began his musical career studying violin at the age of four under the tutelage of his mother. Possessed a fine singing voice, at the age of eleven, he joined the renowned Vienna Boys Choir, performing for two years as their principal soloist before leaving to focus solely on a career as a violinist. Mr. Moeckel studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Professor Helmut Zehetmair, graduating with honors. He immediately won his first professional orchestral position as Co-concertmaster of the Ulm Philharmonic in Germany. After three years with the orchestra, he was granted a leave to
