Everett Greene has been singing for many years. He has been classed with the likes of, Joe Williams, Johnny Hartman, Arthur Prysock, Billy Eckstien, and all the great baritone singers of our time.
He was one of five finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Vocal competition, and also an Emmy Award winner for a Musical on PBS Television. Being accepted by his peers is one of His greatest achievements.
This CD is very special because he gets the opportunity to sing two of his Brothers songs, Someplace To Be, and I've Got Love, as well as many of the songs he loves. With Houston Person being a special guest on this project was, according to Green, the Yeast and the Icing. They really make it Swing.
