We're a four-piece rock band. We formed in a city where there are other bands, and played shows with people you've probably heard of. We live south of punk, west of emo, north of power-pop, in a small town shaded by wry trees.
We recorded at Phase in College Park with our friend Scott McKnight co-producing. Tony Eichler engineered and mixed it with us, and it was mastered by Jim DeMain. We took a song (and our name!) from our good friends the Major Healeys and borrowed one from Game Theory.
We're not interested in playing flavor-of-the-week or follow-the-leader. We're more interested in vocal melodies than the most characteristic emo flag-wavers, but we like their energy level. Once upon a time we were alternative, but now that means something that we're not. Basically, we're more interested in writing good songs than fitting in a particular genre. We hope that shows!
