An individual that everyone should have their eyes and ears on is the unsigned multi-talented musician from El Reno, Oklahoma named Gary Fuston. His recent release Unwind for G. House Productions brings back the essence and hipness of smooth jazz.
One thing is for sure Gary and G. House Productions are onto something new and fresh. There is a vibe with Unwind that makes you stand up and pay attention to its' presence. Yes, it's great background and mood music but the originality of the music and his ability to pull in the listener is the secret, he makes the listener hungry and after awhile you find that you want to come back for a second helping.
Unwind as a whole is great, but you know that I always have to select the standouts. You have the title track "Unwind" that creates the vibe perfectly, followed by the romantic gems "Smooth Cruise", the colorful "Think About It" and the climatic "On To The Next". For the more groove oriented jams, we have the infectious "It's Up To You", "Funky Mr. Johnson" and "Gruv Zone".
Hats off to Gary For making Smooth Jazz cool again. It's a must have for lovers and groove chasers. I guarantee Unwind will give you countless hours of listening pleasure.

Fuston, we have a problem... I am addicted to your music! I honestly can't get enough of the ultra cool grooves and smooth beats. I listen to UNWIND over and over again as it takes the edge off of my day and it puts me into a place where I really want to be and where I love my life and myself. Can music really do all of that? Gary Fuston's music can. This is likely to become one of my favorite discoveries of 2005. UNWIND is an unassuming and reserved project by nature and that's how it grabs you by the heart... In a world of over-produced music and slick studio tricks, UNWIND seems to just effortlessly slide off the speakers and it gets under your skin with a divine combination of Smooth Jazz and comfortable Chill.
