!!!NEWS FLASH!!! OK FANS....HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS...Gene has entered the digital revolution in a big way! Harmonium is coming to Itunes and other major digital distributors very soon. It's a done deal!
Even better news! Gene's sophomore release, tentatively titled "Take Two (and call me in the morning)" is scheduled to be released February, 2006.
It's been a long time coming, but this one will be well worth the wait!
Gene Jones - Harmonium --------------------------- This is one of the best instrumental CDs of this or any other year! Gene does for the harmonica what Benny Goodman did for the clarinet. His virtuosity and musical sensibility will truly amaze you. This is the CD that can make a harmonica fan out of the most jaded listener. (Believe it or not, my dog loves this CD, and he howls at every other harmonica I've ever played for him!)
Sit back, relax, and take a moment to listen to some (or all) of these great songs. This is easy-listening instrumental music at its finest. The CD features such classics as Delilah, O Sole Mio, and Someone to Watch Over Me. It also features the wonderful arrangements of Tony Ciccarelli and Peter Solley, as well as the beautiful guitar work of Jordan Lee. For a real treat, listen to cut #15, Unforgettable. No doubt, you will agree that Gene Jones is an UNFORGETTABLE master of his craft.
If you love the Harmonica Rascals, the Harmonicats, Pete Pederson, Larry Adler and Stevie Wonder, then you will appreciate this new CD from another great living legend.
But don't take our word for it...use the links on the left and listen for yourself.
