Greg Klyma is a home-cooked meal and a vaudeville show in a fast food, karaoke world. His music provides the perfect mix of wrist-slitters and side splitters. Good enough to dazzle the Americana airwaves and sharp enough to leave an impression on the eclectic college scene.
"He's the real deal, singing about stuff that matters." - Sing Out!, Winter 2004
Greg Klyma is Not a Complicated Guy. He is a touring musician with no permanent address. He receives his mail in Cheektowaga, NY and is fun at parties. No Depression (Sept-Oct. 1997) dubbed him "An artist to watch as he follows inspirations and seeks to put his own spin on them." He has been described as a "singer-songwriter with (an) Arlo Guthrie-esque voice (who) writes socially conscious ballads and acoustic-guitar ditties thick with hippie happiness that assume audiences are both smart and able to laugh." His music is folk with a back beat.
2005 South Florida Folk Festival Song Contest Finalist
"He spins meandering tales on a long loved acoustic that bring us to that point where we realize the glass is half empty and half full at the same time." - Performing Songwriter, June 2004
Instruments: guitar, mandolin, voice, harmonica
Discography: New Clothes (2000), In the Meantime (2001), Not a Complicated Guy (2003)
