As well known and widely recognized as Native Americans are today they remain fairly under-represented under-represented in the larger hip-hop community. In 2006, many people only have stereotypes and history to educate them about the Native Americans who live in their backyard, on their corner. Indiens is comprised of three artists, Arohed, Jeremie Frank and K.O. The name 'Indiens' represents the mixture of their Native American and Haitian background. Their lives have led them from New York City to the mountains of Colorado, and finally to Denver. With a few performances under their belt Indiens have been hard at work to bring the sounds that represent who they are.
