Having grown up in Palo Alto, a suburb of San Francisco, he was exposed from day one to one of the most innovative and diverse hip-hop communities in the entire world. That exposure hit overdrive when he became a regular on the airwaves of 90.1 KZSU in the mid-90’s as a featured guest/MC on several weekly shows and a fixture in the local scene. Legend has it that he honed his quick- witted craft while working as a pizza delivery driver, using the time alone in his car to sculpt sentence, after sentence, after sentence. Word quickly spread of his exploits, and he was soon a sought-after performer on stages and in studios around the Bay Area and far beyond. He first hit wax in the year 2000 on Third Sight’s Murderdeathkill EP alongside his primary partner in rhyme, Roughneck Jihad. The guest appearances have piled up since, all building up to his debut full-length solo recorded release, Polygonal Planet. The album can best be described as a showcase for the imaginative rhymes and innovative wordplay that are steadily making waves wherever they are heard, along with world-class turntablism from DJ heavyweights such as the incomparable D-Styles, plus fine-tuning from engineer extraordinaire Dave Cooley. Whatever you do, DON’T SLEEP...
