Invasion Warning was originally released as a limited 100 CD run in January 2005. This unlimited edition features remastering by Chris Ballew (Presidents of the United States of America) and new CD art by Allison Kline (The Lava Lab)
Invasion Warning is an exploratory album, rich with developments and motion, like a soundtrack without a movie. It is the first album released by INTERKOSMOS (Christopher Ferris).
INVASION WARNING: from Chris' notebook
The Rationale is a statement of case; this is an invasion warning; follow along this simple path, with a clear light, it will not be something to fear. Read, listen, hear, it's all the same
Invasion Warning is the act itself; how can you warn someone about something that has not in some way already happened, gathering itself into a coil over years of patience? In the heart of things that shape us bending and weaving, there is where the invasion began
Permission Denials, obey the laws and understand the rules, step back and recalibrate, muse. But the heart keeps beating deep in the hips, high in the head, straight in the gut. Take a breath and face the facts.
Persistence is just that, honestly I don't mean it but it just happens, again, comes back in waves to me and there you have it. A depth that is relentlessly deep, fascinatingly deep, and as I put it carefully away still there is that glimpse into the abyss, or some unending place (dare not hope) that lingers a temptation like I should really turn away and stop staring at what you are, limitless and vibrant
Inevitable is an extraordinary word. It conveys a sense of impending collision, something that must happen. It implies a destiny which is not ours to command. No, this inevitability is not the end of the story and they happily ever after, nor truly anything I could possibly desire to effect, but is instead the path of the mortal, that fills my heart with desperation, that most terrible weight
New Culture Uprise comes at last, get up and move along It's just a direction don't ask
