Jason Farnham was born in Brookyln, NY in 1975. He started playing the piano at age 4. He eventually became very interested in the pop music scene of the 1980's and early 90's, influenced by the large theatrical sounds of bands such as U2 and Simple Minds. He began carving his own style of music, utlizing his unique voice, acoustic guitar and keyboard playing. He currently plays shows in the midwest region of the USA, Cape Cod, and Toronto, Canada and is involved with numerous music projects. He is currently recording his debut pop album in Toronto, Canada with Juno-nominated producer, Douglas Romanow. Jason has also just completed his long-awaited, self-produced instrumental piano album, "Special Times", which is now available for purchase. Featuring 14 original tracks, it contains a blend of both classical and new age elements, occasionally utlizing a backdrop of lush strings to enhance the piano. One track even features a live recording of rain, and another is built around subtle nature sounds. Just under an hour of music (54 min), it will create a beautiful atmosphere for whatever your listening pleasure: dinner music, yoga, or just relaxing!
