The music is influenced by his Salt-of-the-Earth faith, passion for those he serves, and his love of nature. All three are delicately woven together to offer something to challenge and encourage the listener to live life to its' fullest.
"Depravity, Grace and Reckless Abandon" is a project displaying Joel's transparency. In this work he delivers declarations of faith through "Romans 14:7&8," "At the Foot of the Cross," and "Reckless Love." His honesty gives this project a fresh sound heard in "Homesick" and "Waiting." Joel also dedicates this project to the awareness of Christians all around the globe that are persecuted and killed for their belief in Jesus Christ.
