Joe has been playing music and writing songs for over 20 years. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York listening to Jimi Hendrix and began his music career playing hard rock with bands. Over time, Joe evolved to playing original acoustic folk-rock songs and covering "songs with a message" from the past.
A resident of Maryland since 1987, he is a board member of the Baltimore Songwriters Association (BSA).
His song, "One More Time" can be heard on the Baltimore Songwriters Association Compilation CD "Songs From Our Circle TOO" and has been played on listener supported radio stations including WETA (Washington, DC) Traditions program and WTMD (Towson University, Towson, Maryland) Detours program.
The title track of his debut CD, "Some Other Soul", is also on the latest Baltimore Songwriters Association Compilation CD "Songs From Our Circle 3".
