Besides his mid-'80's stint as drummer for poet Allen Ginsberg (Santa Fe NM), and 15 years as a playwright and recording artist based in Seattle, the last six years has kept Kaz busy with the critically-acclaimed release of his debut solo CD ONE HAPPY CAMPER (LiquidCity 1997); as co-author of Vienna-based multimedia firm No Frontiere's design book "In The Place of Coincidence" that became a top seller for Gingko Press; and club tours of southern Europe, before relocating to Los Angeles in 2000 with his wife and long-time musical partner, Jacque Grad. Kaz finished recording Devil In The Barn with some of the great players that he had on his first release, plus a new crew of respected LA and Texas roots rock musicians. Along with Kaz's ten vibrant originals is a roots cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Castles Made of Sand".
