First of all, thanks to all who came to the Bop Boo Day CD release party! That's the most fun I've had in a long time! Barnes and Noble tells me there were 80 people there! Lots of pictures were taken so if your kid got up on stage with me and you'd like a copy of it, let me know. You can buy the CDs at Barnes and Noble on 66th Street and Broadway as well as Tower Records at 66th and Broadway and soon at CDbaby.com, louiserogers.org, etc.
If you missed that performance ... I'll be at Tower Records for an in store performance! Details below.
Tower Records 66th St. and Broadway July 8 1 - 1:45 pm I will be performing songs from Bass-ically Speaking as well as songs from my new CD (not out yet!) and if enough kids show up .... I'd be happy to do some songs from my kid CD, Bop Boo Day!
And YESSSSS that is my name in the window of Tower Records!! Yahoo!
Thanks to all who came out to Symphony Space in NYC for the “Bending Toward the Light - A Jazz Nativity”. Despite the Transit Strike, we had a wonderful turn out with great energy and performances by so many great musicians!

The songs on this CD were carefully chosen. We looked for pieces that were interesting, funny, or simply beautiful and that lent themselves to this instrumentation. We hope you enjoy listening to this CD as much as we enjoyed recording it."
