A moving, powerful collection of songs (some are prayers put to music) about the challenges each person finds in their daily life. Rich in both melody and message, these songs give the listener profound and pleasant music to enjoy. Half acoustic and half light rock, it is a style of music pleasing to all age groups.
The music that singer/songwriter Michael Capone performs on his new release is unequivocally unique. Although he has performed on other albums, he unhesitatingly calls this his "first." Work on this first album began after the artist realized there was no music available in the English language and in the American style that possessed the positive strength he believed should be present in the industry. The response has left me in awe."
Through various inspirations, the composer has synthesized years of study, observation and experience into songs that are tremendously beneficial to his audience. These are songs that touch the deepest fibers of the human heart. Capone, who has performed for more than two decades, brings that experience to create "Light for the Journey," a repertory of songs of incredible depth, from fun and upbeat to profoundly contemplative.
