"I think I'm going to be working some girl someday by bragging that I knew 10YV back in the day. I've been digging on live music since I was in college, and I have rarely seen a local band just own a crowd the way Ten Year Vamp owned the crowd at Bayou Cafe on Saturday night. They had a couple hundred people just eating out of their hands all night long. Seriously - I dug the music, but it was their showmanship and how much the crowd obviously was having a great time that really made the experience for me.... I find myself really awestruck whenever I see a performer who has mastered the art of working a crowd -- and Debbie can transfer her own energy to 200 people and then amp them all up to 11. So much of rock is about more than the music -- it's all in the presentation... and I'm telling you, these guys have "it". This was as impressive an "undiscovered"/local band as I've seen in a very long time." - The Chronic Curmudgeon, (9/11/2005)
"Ten Year Vamp -- with the captivating Debbie Gabrione -- tore the place down with a high-energy set that included a wild ride through "Devil Went Down to Georgia" - David Malochowski (ex Shania Twain Lead Guitarist and Musical Director) (Parkfest 2005 review in the Albany Times Union, 5/2/2005)
"Thanks for playing out front on Friday before the FLY 92.3 3 Doors Down show. You guys were great... I got a few emails like this one: "What was the name of the band outside the Pepsi arena before the 3 Doors Down Concert? The lead singer is hot!!!" Thanks for sending the poster a couple weeks back... I forgot to mention that on Friday. Hope your gig at the Bayou went well," - Potter WFLY 92.3 (email 8/1/2005)
"Hello! Bruce Martin here. I am writing to congratulate all of you on a terrific performance at the Albany Block Party prior to the 3 Doors Down gig. I was especially impressed with the lead vocalist. No, not because she is beautiful, but because her talent is that of a Heavy Hitter. ROCK ON Girl! I look forward to seeing/hearing you all again. Thanks, and Rock ON!" - Bruce Martin, www.theheavyhitters.org (email 8/4/2005)
"once again thank you so much for playing our block party...You are in for all of our shows without a doubt as long as you guys are available, the crowd really loved you gu
