Their self-titled first release, The Sunflowers, is a collection of ten original children's songs written by Michael, with Terri handling the lead vocals, and Jon Walmsley (Jason on The Waltons TV series, and thirty-year veteran of the music business in Los Angeles and Nashville) producing, and playing every instrument he keeps in his closet.
The songs are about things we all hope to communicate to our kids: optimisim, faith, the importance of family, and seeing the world as a beautiful place.
The Sunflowers is sure to please children and parents alike with warm vocals, beautifully crafted lyrics, and a unique sound that crosses '60s pop with bluegrass and folk music.
