Tom grew up in the late '60s/early '70s, and was influenced by groups such as the Bee Gees, America, Bread, Lobo and the Eagles. Tom states, "I was mesmerized by string orchestra-enhanced pop melodies and tight harmonies...the sounds of heaven." Listeners have compared Tom's vocals to Barry Gibb, Robin Gibb, Jose Feliciano and Tony Orlando. "Twilight Blue Excursion" is a compilation of 15 works taken from an ongoing studio demo project that began in 1996. Tom 24 had been writing and performing (solo vocalist/guitar) for several years prior to this recording venture. Producer Dan "the magic man" Wills shared his many talents via bass, drums and keyboards...helping Tom discover the mellow sound he'd been searching for. In The fall of 2004, Earl Beecher of California based Morrhythm/Outstanding Records assisted Tom & Dan with the release of this CD.
The following is a sampling of comments from music publishers in response to demo submissions (1996-2004):

The style of music on this album will take baby boomers on a stroll down memory lane...back to that magical period from 1967-75...when soft rock vocal groups ruled the radio air waves. Let this CD take you on a "Twilight Blue Excursion" of easy-listening pleasure.
