After receiving her bachelor's degree, she went back to her roots in church music, doing some recording for Christian writers and singing with various Christian ensembles. She was a member of The Spirit of Jazz, a Christian jazz combo for 5 years and sang with Tocar, a Christian/Secular jazz group for 2 years. She also makes up half of the guitar and vocal duo that she shares with her husband, Paul. The duo performs mainly a jazz repertoire at restaurants & parties.
In recent years, she has developed a deep desire to use her voice to worship Jesus Christ. She attended and graduated Christ For the Nations Institute from the School of Worship & Technical Arts. She has since been singing on various Worship teams including Vista Ridge United Methodist Church and Preston Trail Community Church. Her & her husband are now heavily involved at The Heartland Church in Irving as Paul has taken on a guitar position on their Worship team and she is singing on the team. She will continue to take opportunities as God sends them and eventually will lead worship somewhere, when the time is right. As of now, she is focusing on living a life 'worthy of the calling' that she has received, as it says in Ephesians 4:1(NIV).
