Tristraum's roots began in remixing with the legendary
San Francisco-based Twitch Remix Service in the early 90s. Twitch released 25 remix albums geared towards djs. Acts included Anything Box, The Prodigy, Future Sound of London, T99, D.A.F., Front 242 to name a few.
Tristraum has emerged as a strong writing/production team to create a successful blend of electronic pop and dancefloor grooves. Their debut single "Shiver" combines trance, darkwave, synthpop and techno. A definite dancefloor anthem for underground clubs that program acts such as VNV Nation, Icon of Coil, Apoptgygma, The Cure, Wolfsheim, etc.
The single has nine different remixes of Shiver plus two bonus tracks. Brilliant is a cover version of a classic Boytronic tune. Very 80's new wave sounding. And I'm Under No One is just as haunting as Shiver.

Tristraum is busy in the studio finishing their debut full-length cd. Look for it in Winter 2004. It will include a few guest vocalists that include Aidan from Empire State Human, Michael from Wave In Head and Brian from Color Theory.
Shiver will also be available in May as a limited 12" on vinyl that includes two breakbeat and one tech house remix.
