Waking is an emotional ambiance of authentic melodic mood swings ranging from luring, passionate somber sounds to a powerful, detonating drive that is not only captured on their recorder material but likewise at their captivating live performances. The genesis of this creation emerged in early 2000 when front man Perf and guitarist JP collaborated their creative energies, forging a sound and identity that has enabled them to sell out many prestigous clubs (CBGB's, Maxwells) and create a reputable buzz within the NYC, NJ circuit. During the last 2 years they have been able to complete their evolution, replacing former members with drummer Dann and bassist Ray.
Waking released it's first EP, The Maze (a 7 track CD produced and engineered by Jay Kanter....Thursday and Sick Of It All), in February and plans to tour the east coast to promote their catharticism.
