I was born in Galway, Ireland, in '79. I live in Vancouver, Canada. I began violin studies at age six, training classically until age twelve which kept me occupied for another few years. I put the fiddle away, grew my hair, picked up a guitar and for the last ten years I've been into Nirvana, Eagles of Death Metal, Soundgarden, Kyuss, Tool and the likes. ( You know how it goes ).
In the summer of 2003 I went to see my dad in Regina. After a few days I suggested to him that we do a show together. He upped the ante by suggesting we record it. I concurred. We picked out some favourite tunes he'd taught me from the time I lived at home, a few songs, brought in a saw player and for three weeks prepared.
The work paid off. Judge for yourself.

It may be of interest to note that the album ' The Boy From Ireland ', ( available here on cdbaby - see UZ2 link on the sidebar ) is a recording I did ( again with my dad ) in Blue Wave Studios in Vancouver in 1981 when I was 9 yrs old.
